Singer/actress and new mom Jessica Simpson is developing a maternity fashion line that will be released next fall. She gave birth to daughter Maxwell drew on May 1 and is excited to launch her own collection of clothes for pregnant women called Jessica Simpson Maternity.
Simpson, 31, told UsMagazine.com, "I'm so excited to partner with Destination Maternity to design a collection of fashionable styles that make you look and feel great. You want to wear clothes that are flattering to your baby bump; you want to show your bump off."
The affordable collection will be sold exclusively at Macy's, Destination Maternity, and Motherhood Maternity and Macy's with prices starting at $36.
Simpson was very fashionable during her pregnancy, opting for leopard-print dresses and vowing to wear four-inch heels while giving birth. Fashion seems to be in her blood. She tweeted on Saturday, "I'm addicted to buying headbands w massive flowers for Maxwell on etsy! She is insanely beautiful I can't help but play dress up!"
