Jessica Simpson explained about her new VH1 series, The Price of Beauty, to the Television Critics Association. She was thrilled to be part of this new venture, which takes her around the world to meet women in other countries and cultures and explore their fashions, diets, and everything they do in the quest for beauty.
“I think going all around the world and seeing all of these incredibly courageous women, it really inspired all of us to find the best within ourselves,” she explained. “And I feel like I walk around with so much more pride in who I am as a woman, as a person. And I got to do it with my best friends, and I think we all just discovered so much about what life really, really is and what beauty actually means.” During her travels for the show, Jessica took her friends CaCee Cobb and renowned hairstylist Ken Paves.
Surgery and Other Beauty Regimens
The series took them to India, France, Thailand, Japan, Uganda, Morocco, and Brazil. “We learn a lot about surgery in Brazil, it being about the largest for, you know, butt implants,” she said with a big grin. “It's definitely the largest place for plastic surgery. So, I mean, we discovered so many different things. I think one incredible thing that we all fell in love with was all the different religions and just learning more about the Muslims and Hindus and the Buddhists and how they define beauty. So I think [viewers will] see a lot of that throughout the show as well. And there are moments where I throw up in a couple episodes,” she confided.
“There's lots of laughter. There's lot of tears. But I think you definitely see friendship and beautiful women.” Simpson exclaimed. She is proud of the show which has helped her come to terms with her own life and body. A Cathartic Experience for Jessica Simpson.

Jessica Simpson was on Oparh and she used her appearance to address the John Mayer drama that has been going on. I watched the show and I have to say even though she bugs me it was pretty good. I have a video from the show plus some pictures of Jessica so keep reading. She may have been on Oprah to promote her new show The Price of Beauty but Jessica Simpson also addressed the John Mayer drama that she has found herself in the center of recently. Simpson said she is a little angry and she doesn’t want people to know what she is like in bed, um I would hope not Jessica. On a more serious note the reality TV star did comment on how she felt betrayed by Mayer’s comments and was disappointed him him. I certainly wouldn’t be disappointed in him I would be really pissed off, she is nicer than I am. She didn’t accept his apology though so at least she is standing up for herself that way, I guess.
Jessica Simpson is none too happy with onetime beau John Mayer, and the rest of us can go to Hades with him while we're at it. "I was so disappointed in him," Simpson said on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" Wednesday. Mayer told Playboy Magazine that she (Simpson, not Winfrey) was "sexual napalm."
Jessica Simpson has learned something from her past relationships with the likes of John Mayer, Nick Lachey, Tony Romo and (briefly) Billy Corgan. "You can't love someone else to change them," the now-unattached Simpson Tweeted Sunday. "Happiness comes from accepting who they are," she continued. "It is our decision to REALLY know who we love.
Popstar Jessica Simpson is dancing to the tunes of samba now a days, all for her new TV show The Price of Beauty. According to the reports, the blonde beauty dressed up in carnival gear for the Brazilian leg of the show and quickly learnt some moves.
