Singer Jessica Simpson, who has been rumoured to be dating singer Billy Corgan, has become addicted to chess after he taught her how to play. They like to take on each other on a regular basis. "He taught her how to play and was surprised at how quickly she got the hang of it, but she is yet to beat him," femalefirst.co.uk quoted a source as saying. Corgan recently revealed he "loves" Simpson but refused to comment further about their relationship.

"If I go, 'Oh, we're just friends,' then it's like, 'Did they go out, did he dump her or she dump him, what happened?' It has nothing to do with any of that. Sometimes people just like being around each other, and good things come out of that," said Corgan. "My goal in life is to love whoever I think is worth loving, and I think if people knew her like I knew her, they would love her like I do. It's really simple," he added.

The Price Of Beauty, Jessica travelled to Mumbai to try out some of the world's wackiest beauty therapies, reports the Mirror.

While trying out the obscure beauty technique, the 29-year-old singer tipped her head to one side and inserted the spout of a small teapot.

Recently, Simpson confessed that she does not brush her teeth. The singer revealed she simply chooses to wipe them with her jumper.

Defining beauty around the world, Jessica Simpson is hoping her new show, "The Price of Beauty," sends a message. The "Come On Over" singer has been chosen to give out the “Goddess” category at Good Housekeeping’s 125th anniversary celebration in New York City on April 12. The award will be given to women who have changed lives through their beauty, glamour and grace.

The 29 year-old said, "While traveling for my show "The Price of Beauty," I've seen the different ways that beauty is defined around the world. I believe that true beauty comes from within a woman's spirit, mind, and inner strength. I am thrilled to be celebrating some of the greatest and most beautiful women of our time at Good Housekeeping's 125th Anniversary benefit for the National Women's History Museum."Other female guest stars expected to attend include Brooke Shields, Meryl Streep, Kristen Bell and Candice Bergen.

She's eaten fried worms in a bid to boost her metabolism and put lit candles in her ears to remove excess wax.

But Jessica Simpson hasn't yet finished her mission to try the world's most bizarre beauty therapies.

On a trip to Mumbai she poured salt water up her nose, oil over her hair and drank a special 'digestive' drink - which simply made her burp.

The 29-year-old, filming her U.S. reality show The Price of Beauty, tipped her head to one side and inserted the spout of a small teapot.

As part of an Indian spa weekend. She later leant over and laughed after water poured from her nose and into a bowl.

Last week, Jessica Simpson's "The Price of Beauty" debuted on VH1 to mediocre reviews. The blonde songstress who has become more famous for her ridiculous chicken of the sea comment and who she has dated than her pretty cool shoe collection (just my opinion) or any other talent she may possess, set sail around the globe with pals Ken Paves and CaCee Cobb.

The premise of the reality beauty series was to bring exposure of what beauty means in different cultures to those of us here in the states. While I believe this is honestly something many women would be captivated by, I think what could be an amazing show is undermined by Simpson's ignorance at times. And by ignorance I don't mean not understanding the cultural differences, because hello, that is what the show is about--but instead I mean making absurd comments that devalue what the show intends to do.

Country legend Dolly Parton has nothing but kind words for Jessica Simpson, with whom she collaborated on a 2008 country track. Parton, no stranger to public body snarking, was quick to defend the elder Simpson sister during a recent appearance on Access Hollywood, saying, It hurts me. In fact, I have defended Jessica so many times 'cause I get so mad. I think, 'You don't even know her!'... and who has such a right to be so cruel and so mean? They just seem to want to hurt her for whatever their reasons are. I've had been made fun of enough in my lifetime especially when I was a child... It hurts and I know it hurts anybody."

She also had positive things to say about Heidi Montag, pointing out that by being open about her cosmetic transformation, Montag avoided becoming a hypocrite like so many other surgeried stars. She admitted, "Oh, I would have probably done it when I was that age if I could have afforded it and thought I needed it."

Jessica Simpson rode passenger while Ken Paves drove out in LA last night and the best friends have a lot to celebrate—The Price of Beauty is apparently getting some good ratings stateside! Meanwhile, Joaquin Phoenix isn't so happy with some of Jessica's apparel choices.

Jessica Simpson has been targeted once again by PETA for wearing snakeskin. She has been recently photographed wearing a bag, jacket and shoes that were all made from animal skin, and has been sent a video by PETA urging her to stop the animal cruelty.

In the video, Joaquin Phoenix says, “Did you know that mother snakes keep their eggs warm by wrapping their bodies around the eggs and then shivering to generate heat? Exotic animals are mostly unknown to us, and so is what they suffer before being turned into belts and bags?”The video has also been sent to Catherine Zeta-Jones, Sarah Jessica Parker, Paris Hilton and Victoria Beckham.
